Disclosure: this page is published by MemoNeet, one of the apps compared. We have tried to describe every app fairly, using each app's own store listing or website as of 19 October 2026. Prices and ratings change often; check before you buy.

Short answer: there is no single best NEET app. The right one depends on what you need.

  • Full coaching with live classes: PW (budget), ALLEN or Aakash (premium).

  • A large MCQ bank with daily tests: Darwin or NEETprep.

  • NCERT line-by-line practice with revision that stops you forgetting finished chapters: MemoNeet.

  • Free, official computer-based practice: NTA's Abhyas app.

Most toppers combine one class-based app with one practice app.

Which app for which student

You want a teacher: live classes and doubt sessions

Choose a class-based app. PW is the budget option with very large batches. ALLEN and Aakash cost more and come closest to their offline coaching. Unacademy sits in between. You will still need a separate practice routine, because classes alone don't build exam speed.

You want to practise a lot of MCQs and take daily tests

Darwin is known for its MCQ bank, flashcards and daily free tests. NEETprep combines a very large MCQ bank with a CBT-style test interface. Both suit students who already know the theory and want volume.

You study from NCERT and keep forgetting chapters you finished

This is what MemoNeet is built for:

  • It turns each NCERT line, diagram and table into questions, chapter by chapter, across all 83 chapters.

  • Its NeuronZ revision brings every question back on a 7-stage schedule (after 1 day, 3 days and so on). A wrong answer restarts the cycle, so finished chapters stay fresh until exam day. Makes you revise your mistakes, best for final 6 month

  • Chapter-wise PYQs from 1988 to 2025 show how NTA turns NCERT lines into questions.

You want free practice in the real computer-based format

NTA Abhyas is free and official. Use it alongside any other app, especially if NEET moves to computer-based testing.

How to choose: five questions

  1. Do I need teaching, or practice? Classes and practice are different products.

  2. Is it built on NCERT? Most NEET questions come from NCERT lines; a bank that maps to NCERT saves time.

  3. Does it make me revise, or only practise once? Without scheduled revision, early chapters fade by exam day. Revise your mistakes.

  4. Are PYQs chapter-wise? Full past papers are good for mocks; chapter-wise PYQs are better while learning.

  5. What does the free version really include? Try it for a week before paying.
